CHINESE STONE SEAL CARVING

In this workshop, experienced seal carving instructors will teach and guide participants to create their own unique Chinese stone seals. Join us and be amazed by the creativity and enjoyment that seal carving provides - patterns can be anything from poetry, words of encouragement or phrases that hold special meaning to the artist.

With The Letter J Supply, you will learn how the traditional dip pen works in a modern context and the fundamentals of letterforms in a relaxed environment. Participants are encouraged to focus on their feelings, thoughts or body movements and collaborate with one another to create art using their bodies as 'paintbrushes' and ‘pencils’, or splash paint onto the blank canvas.

SATURDAY SKETCHING

12PM 

Participants will draw inspiration from selected works from The Artist’s Voice to create sketches and drawings of their own. Each session begins with a brief 10-minute introduction of the works as well as a demonstration.
